OmniFocus for Noobs – Part 0
Ever feel like there’s something you’re forgetting? There’s something you should be doing, or planning, or talking to someone about… but what is it? That’s me, all the time, every day.
OmniFocus has always seemed to me like one of those apps that could change my life. People rave about GTD and particularly about OmniFocus – in particular The Sweet Setup recently named it their favourite productivity suite, and people like Shawn Blanc and David Sparks have posted extensive glowing reviews.
If only it weren’t for that intimidating learning curve.
But hey, you have to start somewhere, right? I’ve just installed OmniFocus for iPhone, and I’m going to try to use it extensively and preferentially in my working and personal lives. There’s a ton of resources out there, but like many people I learn best by doing. So here goes.
I’d be interested to hear from you if you’ve tried OmniFocus and love it, if you’ve tried it and hated it (and what you use instead, if anything), or if you’re in the same boat as me and have always wanted to take the plunge. Get in touch via our forums or on Twitter.
